Nurse Residency Start Dates

Hi, I am looking to know which month nurse residencies usually start. I am specifically looking into NYC, but I'll take any start dates, as it can still give me a good idea!

i currently live in Texas and am getting married this summer and moving to New York City. So, I really would like to know when most nurse residencies start :). Thank y'all!

OH and by the way, I graduate April 28th, if that helps!

That depends on the hospital system.

I had three hospital systems to choose from when I graduated, and all three had different start states.

One hospital only had it start once a year, another one did them every three months, and the one I ended up going with had start dates every month.

You'll need to do research on the hospitals in your area to find out how they structure their residency programs.

Thank you so much for your quick response. I am looking into New York Presbyterian and NYU Langone (I think they are the only 2 hospitals in NYC that have residencies other than Hospital of Special Surgery). I have searched the depths of the internet but have not been able to find ANY start dates.

The only reason I need to know so soon is planning when to have the wedding and when to find an apartment.
