This is a little hard to explain but here goes.
Has anyone ever been required to do a refresher course and chose to endorse into another state and do the new states refresher?
My license is reinstated and Oklahoma allows for an inactive license to endorse. But I do not know if I will have to complete a nurse refresher course in both states or just the state in endorsing into.
If anyone has any info its greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, and it depends on the BON of the state, entirely. Sometimes the Board will not allow it, other times they will allow you to complete CEU's and do supervised clinical practice with a preceptor.

I just took one to get ready for my reluctant reentry into the work force.. It was from nursingknowledge.org and 300$. I am hoping it will give me some help in getting a job..
Too bad Ill have to quit the one I love.

Thank you for the link. This one looks really good, and much less expensive than the one I was looking into. Good luck!
For those that might need a refresher course, the one listed above at nursing knowledge.org is a good one. I'm almost halfway done with it now.
