Nurse and radiology technician salary UAE,IT,AT,UK

Published

Hello.I live in Serbia and I finished nurse high school and now I am going to school for radiology technician.I am interested to go somewhere to work and I collect informations about some countries.I know something about USA and Canada and salaries, cost of living etc.I am interested also to know more about Italy,Austria,UAE and UK.I know also some things about that countries but information from people who work same job like me would be usefull.

Italy:I know that average salaries for nurse is 1250EUR in big cities like Milano,it would be nice if someone could tell me more about cost of living and if know salary for radiology technician.

UK:I know that salary could be from 1k-2k pounds depending on city and experience, also don't know about radiology salaries

Austria:I don't know nothingJ

UAE:Dubai looks very attractive but I know that's not country for long time living, and that salary depends on nationality.I have Serbian and Croatian passport.

People from other countries write something I would like to know how are conditions in your countries.

Issue is not the salary to worry about, but visa requirements for each of these countries. And if your training will transfer over.

Examply, you will not be fast-tracked for a green card in the US with RT training. You need RN after your name for that. Which mean five years of waiting for a green card, and not necessarily gettind paid the same as your American counterpart.

Anyone else from these countries?

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Not sure about radiology tech in the UK but would imagine you would have better luck as RN things may be different if part of the EU

I also have finished nurse high school,i just finished it but i want to go to study for radiology technician and i am interested where i can find job without experience, when i become fresh graduated,i know that almost all countries search for experience but is there than any alternative country, where i could have a chance?UAE maybe?

You have many more job opportunities as an RN, of that is what you are looking for, especially if you are wanting to move to another country.

Even for the US, the RN gets an expedited green card.

Remember that you are posting on a bulletin board that is greared towards nursing, not x-ray techs.

Is here anyone from UAE?
