Nurse qualification and greencard process

Hi,

I am from India and currently on H4 visa.I am interested in pursuing the course for Registered nurse.After completing the qualification and getting a sponsor for a job,how long does it take to process the green card.?

Is the green card wait time shorter for nurses as compared to IT and other field.?

No one know but it could be 5-10 years, and you have to find a sponsor.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Think of retrogression and a long wait. Having a H4 makes no difference especially as India is more affected than other countries in most EB categories only EB1 is current and you need to be a masters I think and have an appropriate level job. Nurses generally fall into the same category as IT so no difference in time
