I was thinking about working in the US. I have passed the NCLEX and am considering getting a TN visa. I was wondering if NP's qualify for a TN visa the same way an RN does. Any help would be apprecieated. Thanks in advance!

Hello, Damien,:balloons:

I cannot help you with this question. Suzanne, our moderator for this type of assistance, will be back next week and can assist you then.

Because an NP is an advanced practice RN, I would think that the answer would be the same. Just bear in mind this is IMHO.

Oh, yes, I forgot to do this:

:balloons: Hello and Welcome to Allnurses.com:balloons:

It is great to have you with us.

You should be able to get a TN visa but these things change all the time, first you have to find a job in the US and NP's are over abundant in some areas!
