1) Are FNPs able to work in speciality clinicals (e.g. ortho) with hospital rounding privileges (e.g. one day a week at local hospital)?

2) To what extent are FNPs allowed to practice in the aforementioned if the state adheres to consensus model?

3) If hired to a speciality clinic and not allowed to visit hospital due to consensus model, how will that affect employment at discussed clinic?

1) Depends on the state and whether they follow the Consensus model.

2) If they follow the consensus model, FNPs would only be limited to clinic duty...no hospital rounding or privileges.

3) Depends on what the clinic requires of the person being hired.
