Hello. I have RN licence in NY and NP licensure is pending in NY.

I want to work in CA so I want to start the process endorsement.

Question 1. How can I know the Issue Date of current License? How can I remember? where can I find it?

Question 2. Can I start the endorsement of both RN and NP at once? Or should I start RN endorsement first and should I start NP endorsement after I have RN license in CA?

The Borad of Nursing in CA never replies my email....

Please help me. Thank you

1. Date of issue of current license = when did the NY nursing board first issue your RN license/NP license? = what is the date?

2. You can do it at the same time or you can apply for your RN license first and then get NP license, but they will need transcripts from your school and verification from your NP certifying board and among other things that are required.

3. Some people get their CA license quickly, some don't. I had a NP aquaintance and she got hers around 3 months that is her RN and NP license. but then after that she had to apply for a furnishing license which allows you to prescribe. Depends on how busy the CA BON is I guess because I got my RN and NP license 9 months after I have submitted everything. then 4 months after that they finally processed my furnishing license.
