Nurse practitioner vs. Physician assistant

How much is the salary of a nurse practitioner on Long Island? Is it a better idea to take the physician assistant route or the nurse practitioner route if planning to work on Long Island? Essentially are Long Island hospitals NP friendly?

You will probably receive more informed responses in the NY state forum. It is not unusual for MSN grads to work as bedside nurses. If you are interested in finding out which hospitals have 'mid level' jobs that require NP or PA, you may need to rephrase your question.
