nurse practitioner programs in other countries

I am interested in traveling outside the US for Nurse Practitioner School and coming back to the US to practice. Has anyone done this? Is it even possible? I am a RN, BSN practicing in the US right now.

If you plan on practicing in the US then why on earth would you go elsewhere to be educated? You will have plenty of extra licensing hurdles to jump if you are foreign educated.

Also, AFAIK, most other countries don't have nurse practitioners (or, therefore, nurse practitioner programs). And, as loriangel noted, if you plan on returning to the US, you will be creating a number of unnecessary hurdles/burdens for yourself by training out of the country.
