Does your state require you to report arrests to the BON? If so, that could mean issues with your license, especially if you need to become licensed in another state. Is your lawyer one that is familiar with nursing licensure? TAANA Executive Office - Home is a resource to find such a lawyer.

Hi all.
I am a RN currently working and 6 months ago was arrested for misdemeanor less than 2oz for possession of marijuana.
The he case is still pending I have a lawyer and am trying to fight it or get it off my record but no charges have even been filed.
currently I'm wanting to move back home and have interviews but I don't know if I should mention it during interview or after if I was offered the position? Many thanks for any advice
