Nurse-Patient Ratio Legislation?

Published

Hello, all. I just heard the other day of possible legislation in the state of Texas that will regulate nurse-patient staffing ratios.

A fellow nurse told me that he received a card in the mail with information and asking him to check a box indicating his support and mail it back. (Or something like that)

Does anybody have any information on this?

Thanks alot!

I'm not to savvy with politics. How do I go about showing my support for this bill and getting my fellow nurses to do the same?

Thanks!

This bill is incredible! 3:1 for progressive car and 4:1 for med surg. trauma 1:1, mother baby couplets 3:1 with no more than six patients total (in case there are twins). In fact, I can't find anything that I don't like about that bill. I hope that it is enacted untouched. What a win that would be.
