Nurse Manager Forwarded Hiring Decision to Recruiter--Now What?

Published

Nurse manager forwarded decision to recruiter sometime yesterday. Here it is 10:30am the next day. I'm thinking IF I was chosen for one of the positions, I would have been contacted already; since they probably want to get the new hire into training right away. Of course I'm still hopeful, just super anxious to find out.

If I was definitely not selected, do you think I would have been contacted already?

Okay, I'm off to go clear my head with a long run--I must ease my anxiety.

You haven't given it nearly enough time. The recruiter might be out sick today ... or out of town for a couple of days ... or simply have a pile of work to do. It can take several days for them to get back to you -- either way.

Good luck!

You're right! Thanks. I'll relax.

Yup, just relax! You'll be alright. Your long run should help out. :)

I called today and left message with recruiter. She returned my call and told me that the units are restructuring and she still hasn't received all the information to make a hiring decision. She told me I could call her in the middle of next week to find out the status of the hiring decision.
