Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone else has started the application process for the Nurse Corps Scholarship program for the 2014-2015 school year. What are your stats if you don't mind me asking? Mine are EFC 0, from Tx, and GPA of 3.4. I wonder how many applicants will there be for this coming academic year. Feel free to ask any questions as well, we can help each other out.

@Future-RN2015 , I applied for the scholarship and am anxiously awaiting SOMETHING!!! My gpa was 3.84, but my EFC was 004220 (not exactly sure what that means). I read all 47 pages of the application book and it says those who are awarded will be notified no later than August 31, but those who did not get the award will be notified by September 30. Praying...and that's all I can do. Otherwise, I don't know how I will pay for my last bit of school...

@Hopes_414 I am in Florida and I haven't heard anything yet either. I read some threads from last years group and they said us in the south were the last to find out. I'm crossing my fingers and saying my prayers. REALLY NEED this scholarship. Good luck to you!

I'm in need as well I'm nervous because I made alot of money last year and that is definitely not the situation this year. Have they checked your credit score yet? Thanks good luck to u as well.

I have checked credit karma twice today (ancy much?!), but I haven't seen anything. I'm trying not to think about it so much but it's making me CRAZY! I hope they don't select all their applicants from up north and forget us down here!! Keep me posted!

pacNWRN I am from the Pac Northwest too. I have not had my credit checked but I am worried that I am out because I have a masters and an EFC 2303. I do have experience with medically underserved - that is what I am banking on but I did look and most of the threads are not from Pacific Northwest.

My efc was also high- much higher due to being a ft RN and having a husband who worked full time in 2013. Unfortunately being in school ft and unable to work much, with all the added expenses it does not really show a true depiction of our financial situation now. I am also experienced with medically under served areas and used that in my essays. Hopefully they look at the big picture :)

My credit was checked on July 30th but I haven't heard anything else. Definitely very anxious!!
