Hi all,

I recently interviewed at Emory Midtown for a 'Nurse Clinician' night shift position... just curious if anyone can give me the 'scoop' on the hospital and compensation/shift differential? I have been an RN for two years and have my BSN. At the interview they told me that all compensation info has to come through HR, but HR won't tell me anything until they put together an official offer.

Thank you! :heartbeat

I havent worked for them myself, but their reputation is this - lower pay but excellent benefits and good work environment to make up for it. And after working there so long (6 months or a year) you can attend the University at a huge discount if you are interested in furthering your education. I have heard it is a good place to work and nurses seem to stay for awhile. Good luck, hope you get what you are looking for from them!

Thanks for your feedback! I'm still waiting for the GA BON to process my application... so it might be awhile before I can get an official offer...

Any new information concerning pay?

Kinda hard to say, all depends on experience. Shift diff is 4.25$ evening, 4.50$ night, and I believe 3.25$ weekend. Float has an extra 6$ to base pay. And yes, their benefits are pretty impressive. Several kick in after being there for 1, 5, 10 years.
