Nurse Achieve Cat and Passed NCLEX?

Updated:   Published

Has anyone used Nurse Achieve Cat NCLEX prep and passed? I'm a repeat test taker and using Nurse Achieve. I have taken three CAT assessments. I failed my first CAT assessment, which shut off at 61 questions. I studied their content review. The second CAT I took four days later, I received a "pass-pass" and noticed I answered 53% of the higher-level questions correctly. Two days later, I took the third test and scored another "pass-pass." I always remediate all of the questions on the test to make sure I understand the rationales.

I must admit this is definitely a confidence booster. I even see my Kaplan scores have also improved. Im getting 57%-58% consistently on new questions in the QBANK and around 63% on the unused/incorrect combo bank tests.

My second attempt at taking the NCLEX is another month away, but I think I'm on the right track. Can anyone share your experience with Nurse Achieve Cat and your NCLEX outcome? Did you have a "pass-pass" and actually pass the NCLEX? Any feedback will be most appreciated.

Have you gone to your board's website to search for your name? It will be under the license lookup section. I'm in CA, and it was postedtwo2 days after I took my NCLEX.

I live in California too, but I am not confident, so I applied to the Illinois state board (3 years and multiple attempts, but I passed the first attempt). I searched in online license lookup shows no records found. Do I need to pay any extra fee to get my license?

I'm a bit confused. Are you looking up your license in Illinois or CA? If you applied to the state boards of Illinois, you have to look up your request in Illinois, and it will not show up in CA boards. If you want to work in CA, I think you need to apply for a license of endorsement (an extra $) with the CA boards to have a right to practice in CA.

I'm wondering the same thing. I've studied questions from Saunders, the NCLEX mastery app, and Achieve. I'm a repeat test taker, so I'm afraid to use too many resources and become overwhelmed. In the first two CAT exams, I scored a fail. So I purchased the extended version and did two more CAT exams today, and each time I scored higher with a pass-pass result. I'm cutting the 40% in the individualized exams, so I've chosen to wait another week before testing. Those of you that used nurse achieve, did you fully feel prepared?
