Hello to all who be starting the RN-BSN program at UTA on August 13!

Started this thread so we can help each other out as questions arise during the course.

I will be working full-time and have a 21 month old at home. He is very easy going :) Hubby is very loving and supportive as well. Good luck to everyone!! :nurse:

Hope everyone can enjoy some part of the holiday weekend. Just submitted my week 3 assignment so I can be school free tomorrow! 3 weeks down and 2 to go for the first half. Sounds like we are all hanging in there. I feel a since of accomplishment.

Is it just me, or does it seem as if we have been in class for a long long time....not just 3 weeks? Glad you are off and can take some time away from thoughts of nursing. later..

I feel like I have been in class more than 3 weeks also. Seems like I never left. Spent some time on lectures and readings today for week 4. Now, to do a few other chores, a little fun, and then maybe back at it tonight. Back to work tomorrow night! Hope you get to relax a little after weekend work!

I didn't know that we get a week off in between A & B. I would like to just get it over with.

I tried to work ahead this week and post my discussion board posts on Friday (they are due this week). They ended up getting erased. It was a good thing I saved them in a Word document. I need to keep that in mind just in case I decide to try to work ahead again. Just thought I would let you all know so the same thing doesn't happen to you.

Good to know Quest4sure. What nursing class will we take after Professional Nursing. Not sure of the sequence suggested! Maybe getting ahead of myself, but ready to move on and get this over also!

You can go by your map to figure out the best way to take your classes. I still have 4 pre-reqs to take so I will be taking a couple of online classes at the local community college for my next couple of classes. You can choose whatever you want after this. The capstone course just has to be the last class.

Sounds good to me! My mom is in a nursing home and unfortunately I have been dealing with aging parents as far as health problems for the last 3 years. Sometimes sad what can happen as we age. Maybe this will help in the class N3325. Remind me when it is time to register! Would be good to have someone I can interact with during the class.

I am registered for N3325 in the Nov start. Might need to start a new thread when the time comes. Can't wait till next week is over! If anyone is taking N3425 in Sept, will start a thread for that too.:)

Yes,I will remind you when we have to register. I will be taking Fed Gov (Pols 2311) concurrently. I understand completely what you going through w/ your parents. Had something similar w/ mine.

Good to hear that you will be in N3325 in Nov as well. Yes, we should start another thread. sounds like you had a rough 5 weeks taking those 2 classes together. At least you can mark 2 off your list. Do you or your husband have to take US gov (POLS 2311)? I'll be taking that also starting Oct 22nd.
