Number of Nclex-PN Questions.

Hello, im a nursing student who just took the Nclex-PN last week in CA.

Yesterday, I met my best friend who took Nclex-PN in New Jersey and came back to CA.

We couldn't met each-other really long time because of our own busy schedules.

So, I had a conversation with him about Nclex-PN.

He said the Test questions -> minimum was 65 and maximum was 150.

And for the taking that test... he paid lots of money to the owner of nursing school.

(the Test fee was $60, he said. But,,,, He also paid some lots of money to the owner...)

He said that he can't use the license in CA, Also, It wasn't possible transfer to Ca license from New Jersey license.

After the conversation, I felt like that owner just cheated my friend out of money.

or Maybe I'm completely wrong.

So, I want to ask you guys about this situation...

All states have different number of questions in Nclex?

I find this hard to believe as NCLEX is a National examination, therefore it should be the same type of exam across the states and nation. For PNs the min. of questions is 85....

So,, you mean all states have same system in Nclex....

and you think that it's the owner's fraud... right?

My friend paid lots of extra money for the test to the owner....

I'm so angry and don't know what to say to him...

I don't want to break my friend's heart...

oH MY ur friend was cheated LPN min is 85 max is 205 and why would he pay someone personal instead of paying pearson vue..Sorry to hear people are out there trying to con us nurses..Let us know what happened.
