Has anyone heard anything about interviews for Northwestern State University of Louisiana yet? According to the website, interviews start in a month and I haven't heard anything.

@ZizzoReed would you say its mainly clinical heavy or emotional intelligence?

It was a pretty good mixture of both for me. Definitely took the full 45 minutes, if not more

Do they ask about clinical site?

They asked which one I would prefer between Alexandria/Shreveport

I am scared to bomb the questions.

I heard that they will start sending out letters at the end of this week/beginning of next week

Let's hope!! ??

Specializes in MICU.

I feel like I did well in the interview, and I'm hoping to hear good news soon.

Has anyone received any type of email/update yet?

I just did. They're sending out acceptance letters!

Is anyone familiar with the differences between FranU & northwestern? I have a decision to make and am not sure of which to pick! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard FranUn is more front loaded so you get your classes out of the way and can focus more on just clinicals when you get there. Northwestern also has yet to graduate a class/take boards so it is hard to gauge the success of their program. That being said I believe the people who started Northwestern came from FranU so there is hopefully success that they bring.

@Msnurse3443 All great points. I also need to look into the amount of clinical hours NSU gets.

@baristanurse Yes, very true! It's good you have options though! Congratulations!!
