I applied for this but actually what does this really covered?
I had the worst 3 days of my nursing career and getting complaints for such not changing the diaper when the patient had bowel movement, we do have CNA. I was scared that they might sue me for this, good thing I read this here.

Read the above article. The short answer to your question is that in no event will the insurance cover you for anything that occurred prior to the effective date of the policy. Since it sounds as if you applied for coverage after the incident described, you will not have your personal insurance coverage for it.
The reality of the situation is that it is extremely unlikely that any sort of suit would occur from the incident described, and that since you are an employee, you are covered by your employer's liability coverage and that insurance would apply for any suits or claims.

Patients and families can sue for whatever they want. However, no attorney would take the case unless the patient is either dead or harmed.
A patient or family member needs to have a cause of action in order to sue you. But if you have not been found guilty of a tort (civil wrong), then any action to sue you would probably get dismissed if it was even filed. Generally speaking, personal injury suits carry personal risk and massive expenses for attorneys, so they do not accept a case unless a clear cause of action (read: irreparable harm or death) exists and monetary recovery is certain.
Not changing the diaper in a timely manner? Ha, ha, ha. Unless the patient left the facility with a stage 4 ulcer that was not present upon admission, being left in a poopy diaper is something a malpractice attorney would laugh at.
