NSLIJ Critical Care Fellowship

Published

Just wondering if anyone applied and has heard already?

Nothing yet but my friend is in the picu fellowship and she told me she didn't get a call till a week after she filled out her application.... Here's hoping!

ok thanks! Are you a new grad? let me know if you hear anything, I'm not having any luck so far so I'm not holding my breath. I just got my license end of March. Fingers crossed!

Hi NycRN92,

Did your friend get into the PICU through the critical care fellowship or the PICU fellowship. I applied to the PICU fellowship and I'm not sure if I should apply to the critical care one as well. I heard that it usually takes up to a week to hear back from them but on another thread a girl applied to the picu fellowship and got a call already for an interview. I'm a new grad and also just got my license in March. I haven't had any luck either dht183.

She applied to the picu fellowship. This was last year.....and I read the thread with the girl who has a interview scheduled already. I think she applied to the posting they had in the last few days of April. And I guess I'm what you would call a old new grad.

Oh ok. I didn't know NSLIJ had a posting in April. I saw today that all the fellowships are still up, so maybe they wont start to call people until after they take it down. I'm trying to stay positive but I know my chances are smaller being an AD nurse. Keep us posted if you hear something!

I applied to all of the fellowships that were posted- ED/CC/PICU at both locations..anyone have any news??

nothing on my end yet :(

I'm a new grad as well and got my license in feb...best of luck everyone!

I applied to the cc fellowship both locations, did not get a call back yet. ..Yep, new grad license in March, definitely will keep u guys posted. Did anyone called? When I did someone said they looking through applications, but that's it ..but the rest just say they can't release any info ( they are very secretive about the whole process)

I havent heard anything back either. Its been 2 weeks since I applied . Im not a new grad, but Im very interested in critical care.
