Nsg schools in LA/Orange County area without the within five year prereq stipulation

Hello all, I have been looking into applying for nursing schools in that area (I am from Kentucky, but I LOVE that area). I took all my nursing school prereq's over five years ago and wanting to know if anyone can tell me which nursing schools do not have the five years time stipulation on the prereq's like Anatomy, etc.

I went to an open house (informational seminar) in August at Los Angeles City College. They clearly said they don't have that stipulation, however, they said this is why they have even more applicants than other schools.

Thank you very much for that information, there are quite a few nursing schools in that area and it gets really time consuming trying to find which ones do and don't. For the most part, it seems like in that area they do have a five year limit, but I will definitely check into the school you mentioned. Also, the tuition rates for the community colleges there are fantastic! $26 a credit hour? That is great! Much less than our in state tuition community college rates in Kentucky.

If anyone else know of any other nursing schools in that area without the five year limit for prereq's please let me know! I've been trying to check online, but it gets confusing and time consuming. Thank you!

There is a Saddleback college in Mission Viejo, Orange county with 7 years stipulation, Cal State San Marcos (North San Diego), Cal State San Bernardino in San Bernardino, Golden West College. Just want to tell you that it is very hard to get in any of these.

The $26 per unit tuition rate is for California residents. You have to have lived in California for at least 1 year in order to get that rate. It is significantly higher for out of state students. Sorry - I don't know the out of state tuition rate, but I am sure it is listed on the school's website.

Yes, I know the $26 a credit unit is for CA residents, I was just remarking on how great of a tuition rate that was. Even the out of state tuition at the CA community colleges is not much more than our in state community college tuition rates.
