Hello there! I just applied for the 2018 summer program at NEVADA STATE COLLEGE and I was just wondering if there's anyone here that is also on the same boat as me. The waiting game is real intense and I cannot wait until we receive that letter in the mail! The lady from SON said it'll take about 3-4 weeks after the deadline which was jan 19. Goodluck to us and can't wait to start this next chapter of our lives!

I have been checking the mail every day, even though I know we will receive the letters some time between February 8-16... Get here already, I want to be sleep deprive and run between labs and arriving to clinicals on time (early) already. Waiting is the hardest part... Then I imaging somehow my application getting lose or my ATI results some how not getting sent to NSC even though I check at the testing site before I ever started. Which was a good thing because somehow ATI had the address to send the results to as CSN bookstore. I mean how does that even happen? Good Lock everyone and I hope to see you March 2.
Yay! It's almost here! I hope we receive the letters by the end of this week!

I got in too!!!
Does anyone know what kind of questions they'll be asking us for the interview on march 2?
The interview panels have many elements to it, so do not over think it. The best thing you can do is to be honest and be yourself, but more importantly build a good foundation with your clinical group. The panels are in a sense building teams. Of course some of us may have personal objectives base off of location or contacts at certain hospitals. Each panel may have it's own agenda based off of past experiences, the student experience, or personality types. I think it is far more out of your hands then you think because everyone can not have you and somebody has to take you. I am more curious how the selection process goes from and between the hospitals on their side. I hope to one day to be on the opposite side of table.
