Hello,
I am currently an NP student in the middle of clinical rotations. I am having trouble finding a Women's Health NP to do clinical hours with this summer. I live in New Jersey. If anyone could provide any assistance it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I feel your pain. A woman's health site is so hard to find! I'm doing WH this summer as well and after 2.5 months of looking for a site I finally got in with the public health department. Private practices tend to not want students, abortion clinics are the same. Try free clinics, family planning centers, teens & womans clinics, just do a search on the net like that. 99% of the students in my class are at charity type clinics, health dept and the such. Good luck.

Maybe you can get some time in a larger ER assisting with SANE and OB/GYN emergencies??

try the public health clinics and federally funded clinics, thats what i did trying to get a tprivate practice site is hard. mosth of the public health clinics and federally funded clinics get lots of students from medical school, NP schools etc. i have also found that you see more variety in these settings. also you get to do alot of teaching which i find fun to do:heartbeat:cool:
