From those of you who are practicing NP's. Is 90,000 dollars (out of state tuition) for an NP program worth it? Is it feasible to pay back? (Please don't fill me up with "it's worth it if you love it" or "it depends on if you can live really cheap to pay it back"). Real everyday life living, is that much in tuition worth it?

I am in the same boat...seeing these program prices is intimidating. I agree with other responses that the prices of all programs is going up. Is the program you are talking about a DNP program because if it is then i can see paying that much knowing i do not have to go back to further my degree. Also think of travel time to the program for campus visits, length of the prgram, books/fees/supplies, travel time to clinical. I know there are a few "more cost effective " NP programs out there but I think you are just going to have to crunch the numbers because those programs may not be that much cheaper after you factor in the extras. Best of luck to you!!

How is the program so far? I have recently applied and this wait is killing me? Did you have to wait very long from the time you applied to the school until you were contacted for possible interview and/or acceptance letter?
Sorry to bombard you with questions but you are the first student fromt he program that I have seen posting.
