I attend Loyola New Orleans BSN to DNP program. My education will be around $65-70K after the 3 years.

Mom to 4

How is the program so far? I have recently applied and this wait is killing me? Did you have to wait very long from the time you applied to the school until you were contacted for possible interview and/or acceptance letter?

Sorry to bombard you with questions but you are the first student fromt he program that I have seen posting.

I am in the same boat...seeing these program prices is intimidating. I agree with other responses that the prices of all programs is going up. Is the program you are talking about a DNP program because if it is then i can see paying that much knowing i do not have to go back to further my degree. Also think of travel time to the program for campus visits, length of the prgram, books/fees/supplies, travel time to clinical. I know there are a few "more cost effective " NP programs out there but I think you are just going to have to crunch the numbers because those programs may not be that much cheaper after you factor in the extras. Best of luck to you!!

I'm thinking about a certain RN to FNP program that will cost about $55,000 total. I'm in a similar situation and even posted a similar article. I am trying to shop around for prices too.
