NP or DNP?

I am trying to understand the the Doctor of nursing that seems to be up and raising. how is that realy differnt then a NP?

Does it change what a person can or can not do? is there a concise place to find consitant info on this?

At this point, there is no plan for an expansion of scope of practice. There are a bunch of existing threads here discussing this controversy at length and in detail. Have you looked at any of them?

NP is a certification/license/job path and DNP is a degree.
