Hai friends , I'm just wondering if anyone is applying for NP programs for this year in Ontario, Canada?

Hi guys, anyone got any updates from TMU this week?

Are you on the waitlist?

I have heard nothing not even waitlisted

Don't worry we are in the same boat , LOL!!

No I'm not on waitlist, still have not heard anything?? Just wondering if anyone in the group heard back...

Specializes in Nurse.

Waitlisted on Queen's and Western:

No news is good news or bad news?

@Nikoli, Western's PHCNP or NP diploma program? Hope you hear back soon 🙂

PHCNP, I think we are in the same boat...

Yes we are. I have not got any response yet. Not even waitlisted! Hope we get some good news soon.

Anyone going to McMaster?

I thought you were waitlisted. They may not review it yet. Let us hope for the best. This year additional spots were distributed to universities for the NP Program. Maybe that will help...

Yes hopefully 🤞

accepted to york (early march)/uoft(late feb)/tmu(early April) - GPA 3.9ish, 6yrs experience (5 ICU)

Anyone have any suggestions re: u of t vs TMU? I'm a bit concerned about a whole new curriculum for uoft this year - wonder if it will be disorganized... I totally wrote off York as they're still on strike (my colleague still has not taken any final exams)

Best of luck everyone

The strike is over at York plus after each strike there is a contract where they cannot strike a number of years so it wouldn't affect us! I'm choosing York solely based on having some in person classes and the much lower tuition versus UOFT
