i took my test on monday and i have been a wreck ever since. i got so stressed that i have put myself under the weather. My test cut off at 81. so who knows, it's thursday and tuesday was a holiday so no results yet. i am so nervous, does anyone no of anyone passing with 81 questions? none of us can really know that answer. I thought the majority of the questions were difficult and that i could not tell if they were getting easier or harder. pray for me you guys, i so know how you feel now.

Hi Christine,
I know its been a while but I thought I'd respond in case you were reading for one.
You can pass or fail at any number, there are no indications of passing or failing by number. I wish it were that easy too. I can tell you from experience, that I had 188 questions the first time and failed, 75 the second and failed. I had friends who passed at 75 and failed also at 75, and friends who did the same for 265. Many had right in between and passed and failed. It really dosen't mean a thing.
The intensity of the questions are a better indicator I would say. The harder the questions the better, that means the computer has found your weakness and your weakness (like everyone else taking it) are hard questions and they don't expect you to get them right.
Well I hope this helps, and I realize by now you have your results in hand so let us know if you haven't already. Lots of folks here really like to help out if it.
God Bless,
Jacel

Can't do a thing but wait and ride it out... feel for ya.
Hope you did SUPER !
Glad you have a place to come "worry out loud".. not that it will change a thing.. what's done is done.
But at least you can type away just a wee bit of the stress...
Wish you the very best !
Keep us posted.

If your questions that you ended with were mostly prioritizing questions (you have X patient and Y patient and Z patient which patient do you see first) then there is a good chance that you passed. Those are the critical thinking component questions and are considered to be the highest level of questioning.
hi everyone it's been a long time, i got my results before thanksgiving and i did not pass, so i have been working as an aide and unit clerk at the hospital, i have also just begun studying again, so i reapplied and the brn rec'd my reapplication on dec 24, so i have to wait for an authorization to test anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks, which means i won't find out if i test until late this month or early february. thanks for all you support.

So sorry. But for sure you'll do better next time.
hey larry, do you have any suggestions on what i should do different, oh yeah, i forgot to tell all of you i was very sick when i took the test, so i would advise anyone getting ready to take for the first, second or third time, to be well rested and cancel and reschedule if you can.
Yep. Recommend you take a prep course. At our school it's required. (Our first-time passing percentile is in the high 90s.)
If you took one before, then perhaps you can contact the appropriate folks and ask them to allow you to sit through the program again. Many of these trainers include that privilege as part of the deal... so take advantage of it.
Get some assistance in pinpointing just where you seemed to go south on the exam. Ask them to suggest how you can best beef up in that area -- whether it's technical expertise or test-taking skills or both.
Please don't allow yourself to give up. You got through school. You'll get through this.
Focus on your attitude and stay up. Also keep yourself healthy. Visualize scoring well, getting the news, and then sharing it with everyone. Now work backwards from there. Figure out what you're gonna have to do to succeed. Then follow thru on your plan. Work on it nearly everyday.
Give this next shot all you've got. Stay serious about beating the exam.
You're bigger than this test. Now prove it to yourself.
All the best, Chris!
Regards,
