Novant Summer 2021

Published

Hi has anyone applied to Novants nurse residency for Summer 2021? I applied to the charlotte market and was wondering if anyone has heard about interviews and if your application still says application received

Mine def wasn't 30 minutes. I still hope I get it.

Neither was mine. They told me at the start it would be like 15 minutes though and I interviewed early so I’m not too worried

Okay cool.

Specializes in Labor and Delivery.

Mine was about 25 minutes. But the normal time was supposed to be 15-20 minutes. They said that in the interview link I believe

Yeah I know. Just wondering how long people "actually" spent during their interview.

Hey!

I interviewed Friday at Winston-Salem, but Charlotte is my 1st choice. I haven't heard anything from Charlotte. Does anyone know if there is a roommate/ housing page for the Winston-Salem area? If offered a position, I would be moving from Fl.

I also applied to both but haven't heard anything from Charlotte yet either. I'm not sure about housing pages as I'm (hopefully) relocating from NY, but once people start getting accepted we should definitely make a facebook group so we can network about that kind of stuff as needed. Hopefully we get good news soon!

Yes! That's a great idea. It would be nice to know someone when moving to a new place. I don't know if you also got an interview and booked it through eventbrite? This was on one of the emails

"Schedule your virtual interview . You only need to schedule ONE interview to be considered for ALL Program locations

We hope you can make it!

Cheers,

Novant Health New Grad RN Recruitment Team"

So hopefully, they'll see where they can fit us/ look at our preferences.

Regardless, I hope we get good news. I heard great things about the residency program.

Yes! I had my interview on the 15. Hopefully by the end of this week we'll know. What track did you apply for?

Yeah, I was told beginning of next week because I think they are doing final interviews?

I'm hoping for women's health/ pediatrics. I know they're both competitive so I'm keeping my fingers, toes, everything crossed.

Oh right, that makes sense. I applied for critical care which I believe is also pretty competitive. Good luck to you!

Good luck to you as well! Hopefully we get some good news.

Anyone know if they would choose a BSN over an ADN?
