Hi has anyone applied to Novants nurse residency for Summer 2021? I applied to the charlotte market and was wondering if anyone has heard about interviews and if your application still says application received

No, I just wrote down the contact for the lady in Human Resource that they gave us in the information session.

How your interview go? I changed mine to 2/23 instead of 3/1. 

We all should make a FB group to keep each other updated and how it's going once we're in it.

I think it went alright! It was pretty laid back and she was very nice. She said I'd hear in about 2-3 weeks since there are 2.5 weeks of interviews

I applied and interviewed for the Charlotte market! Hopefully we will know by the end of next week.

Good luck! I interviewed on the first day and have been (im)patiently waiting to hear since then.... Did you apply for any other residency programs in the area?

No, I only applied to this one! I'm from Virginia so I did some research on the residency programs around Charlotte and I didn't find one that compared to this one. I really really want a full 12 month program.

Thanks! I applied to a bunch of spots for new grads in NC, SC, TN, and MD - basically wherever there were opportunities for new grads in the ICU setting. Relocating from upstate NY to wherever I accept an offer, but really like everything I've read and heard about Novant and their program so hopefully that will be the one.

Mine was about 30 minutes with Chelsea
