Nova Southeastern Winter 2015 - Entry Level BSN

Helloooo future Sharks! =)

I haven't found any threads on the upcoming NSU Winter 2015 entering class so here it is.. Does anyone know when they will start calling for interviews? I know the final day to send in apps is Oct 1st so I'm assuming they'll start doing interviews close to that time? Talk about a forever wait! Anyway, I'd love to talk to others in the same boat or anyone who's gone through this recently and can offer any advice.

WOW that's fast... they told us it could take from 5-10 business days :(

I was impressed because they told me the same thing!! But I know some people that theirs took longer.

they must have really liked you (lucky!!) lol... Im not nervous about my gpa or test score.. what worries me is the interview because although I did answer all their questions I could have done WAY better and was super nervous.. literally shaking! :(

if you are not accepted will they inform you also? omg I hope they let me know some time next week.. :cat:

Don't freak out! Since its already the end of the interview process, space is probably running short. This could be a good thing because you could either be accepted immediately (in less than a week from your interview date, I'd say) or you may be called at last minute because accepted students dropped their seats (didn't pay the tuition deposit on time or have other nursing schools pending); this actually happened to friend of mine where he was told they couldn't accept him because all spots were filled.. they then called him a week later to inform him of available seats at last minute. Whether you were accepted or not, I think they mentioned they would give all applicants their final decision by the first week of December. Hopefully they don't keep you waiting that long! There is still hope!

How is the Baptist interview? I know is a panel interview but I would like to know how many questions do they ask and how long does it take, I received a letter from them saying that they will be sending the appt for the interview. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

thank you! I'll keep you posted! hopefully I get in! I graduated back in May from MDC and didnt apply anywhere in the hopes of starting in NSU this term so if I dont get in i'll be ssooo :( lol so im hoping for the best

I'm with you still waiting.. I apply to MDC and don't think I got in,,, it's funny cause people with lower gpa than mines got in but I just hope NSU accepts me.

Uugghh it's so disappointing! I didn't know getting into a BSN program would be this difficult.. When was your interview yuremaa?? Did you take the teas at mdc? If so, how was it.. I'm considering applying there also.. And maybe keiser as well.. I graduated 7 months ago and didn't apply anywhere else with the hopes of getting into NSU but at this point I have to look every where else.. I can't be another 7 months off

What campus? I applied at Barry.. Had to submit an appeal and everything because if you withdrew any of the pre-req sciences they won't take you and I withdrew two when I became pregnant with my youngest..
