Nova Southeastern Winter 2015 - Entry Level BSN

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Helloooo future Sharks! =)

I haven't found any threads on the upcoming NSU Winter 2015 entering class so here it is.. Does anyone know when they will start calling for interviews? I know the final day to send in apps is Oct 1st so I'm assuming they'll start doing interviews close to that time? Talk about a forever wait! Anyway, I'd love to talk to others in the same boat or anyone who's gone through this recently and can offer any advice.

had my interview on tuesday at the main fort lauderdale campus. My nerves really got to me. But im very happy i went and accomplished this much so far. Waiting on Nova's decision!

Has anyone else got accepted

Just got accepted today . I registered for orientation

After reading these comments my nerves are getting to me! My interview is on the 22nd. Do you think they could fill up by then? D:

If I get accepted im going to get loans and more loans lol

Me too!! Lol! But I'll look into outside scholarships and options as well. We have enough time to do our research and see what else is available. Good luck Yuremaa!

No, don't worry. They woun't have scheduled another group to be tested and interviewed if they had all the seats full already. In an e-mail I received right after my interview day, it clearly says that I should expect an answer the latest by December 1st. So there's plenty of time for the rest of applicants.

Yurema, I am in the same position but to be honest, I'm kind of happy that it is turning out this way. NSU will give us our BSN and we will be ahead in our nursing careers. Newly grads with ASN degrees are having more and more difficulties finding jobs, whereas BSN grads are the most wanted nowadays. After 4-5 years of practice (and earnings) you can start thinking of you Master's if you'd like to become a Nurse Practitioner or an Anesthetist. Definitely a lot of more options for us. I'm very happy with what is coming soon! Good luck, stay positive.

They take sometimes the entire 2 weeks from your interview date to reply. I had to wait almost 2 weeks to get my acceptance. If you got a decent grade, and you did well on your interview and essay, you are probably already accepted. Wait 10 days and then give them a call if you can't wait for 14 days exactly. Hope to see you soon!
