Hello future nurses!
I'm very anxious about my admission decision. Does anyone else feel the same way? I applied to Nova at the beginning of this month, checking the VIP page 3-4 times daily.
What campuses is everyone applying too? How was the interview process like? Did anyone attend the information session or spoke to a counselor?
I look forward to meeting everyone!
@nique92, Did Nova send you denial email already? I didn't hear anything from them yet.
yeah they sent me a letter saying i was denied. Im guessing its cause i messed up during my interview?idk but idc i shredded it and already subitted my deposit for UMD lol
maybe you got accepted being tht i got a denial letter already and you havent recieved anything yet?we had our interview around the sam time didnt we?
You got at least a response they are killing me not letting me know if im hold or rejected atleast something I got accepted to barry but Im still waiting on Nova I kinda want them to let me know just to see if i should pay the deposit for barry
But Nova is still my first option I really thought that having a 3.7 would help me alot but apparently it seems i flunked my interview which i thought I did okay .
Hey congrats to everyone that have been accepted!!!!!!!! I got into the main campus!!!! Hope to meet some of you soon!!! For those that are waiting on Nova, keep your head up high!!! If nursing is something you really want then keep fighting for it!!! It will be worth it all in the end!!!
@niqu92, Congrats! yes, we had our interview at the same day. I screwed it up too! Im not so anxious because I'm waiting for the result of my applications for Accelerated BSN in 2 universities. I should have a good shot since they are looking for GPA, TEAS V and experiences abroad and etc.. My GPA is 4.0 and TEAS V is 99 percent. I just like Florida and Nova is a good option except its too long of a program for me. Good luck to your journey at UMB. My friend teaches Biology there.
@pasodeblas
thanks! :)
yeah your stats are super good you should have no trouble then mine are horrible compared to yours- 3.3 GPA and 79 TEAS lol what got me in was my resume,essay,&recommendations. Yeah Novas program is waaay to long thats one of the drawbacks, i got accepted for UMBs traditional program (im only 19yo) it's 2 years without summer courses so im going to take summer courses to finish faster. I know they have the second degree program, if youre looking for a good quick accelerated program and you have the funds then maybe you should look into MCPHS in boston- very good school and the program is 1year and like 3-5 months but is extremley intense.
