Nova Southeastern University FNP Fall 2018

I have not seen any post yet about NSU's FNP program for Fall 2018. I applied a couple of weeks ago and received a call from them stating that I will find out within 4 to 6 weeks if I am accepted. Was wondering if there was anyone else that has applied or that will be applying for this Fall.

Hey everyone. I had my phone interview in March and heard that I was accepted via email about a week later. I did send my transcripts to both Nursingcas and Nova but I had another friend who didn't send it to nova who also got a interview and got accepted. I submitted my nova application at the end of February but my Nursingcas application in January.

It's been a month since I applied. Have not had an interview yet. Hoping I hear something soon.

Thinking maybe I should have applied sooner. I am guessing the earlier you apply the better your chances. Seems like they just accept people and fill the seats as they go along, as the applications trickle in they admit people.....It's the only FNP program I applied to.

Did you find out via phone call, mail, or email of your acceptance? I keep checking my email and mailbox daily and constantly checking my phone for any missed calls.

Scheduled my interview via phone and got my acceptance via email

Hey everyone. I also applied to FNP Fall 2018 program. After sending in my transcripts to both Nova and Nursingcas I received a call to schedule my interview after about a week. My interview was last week so now I'm just waiting on an acceptance email.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of questions did they ask in the interview?

I am trying to remain optimistic, but I didn't get an interview so I am thinking that means I didn't get in.

She pretty much asked why did I choose Nova, why the FNP program rather than the acute, what is my dream job as a nurse practitioner. She also asked about my experience and my current job. It was really short, like 10 to 15 mintues.

Its still pretty early I think you may still have a chance.

In the email did it say how long you have until you have to confirm with them that you will indeed be attending?

Thanks they gave me 2 weeks to pay the deposit to hold your spot.

Hello Everyone! Congratulations to those already accepted! *fingers crossed* to those still waiting. I applied in Mid February, got the phone interview about 6 - 7 weeks later, got the acceptance letter about a week later, and paid the deposit to hold the seat a few days ago. Now waitiing to post final transcript in June. I am so excited!!! Again, good luck to you all!
