Nova Southeastern University BSN Entry Level Fall 2014

Hi everyone!

So I guess im the first to start the thread for Nova's Fall 2014 admissions. I put in my application about 2 weeks ago, and actually did my prereqs here as well. I am still in the process of completing Micro and A&P 2. I am VERY nervous about the admission process because my GPA is not as high as what im seeing on this site.

Thoughts?

I'm in a similar boat except I will have two pre-reqs to complete this summer. Debating if I should even bother putting in an application for the fall start. No point in worrying about other people's GPA, scores, etc. There is nothing you can do about them. Just apply, sell yourself as best you can as to why you deserve to be in the program and go from there.

I probably submitted my application around Feb. 20th. I'm nervous about the process too but we have to go through it as best we can. I'm applying for the Fall 2014 and my gpa is 3.14. Taking MicroBio and the lab.

Just had my interview yesterday! Hope I will be finding out in the next week or two! I scored a 67 on the Kaplan which I think is horrible, but the others in my group got a 72, 68, 65, and 63. If anyone has taken the Kaplan what was your test score and did u get in yet?!

Hey Kami23. How was your interview?… I haven't gotten a call for the interview yet so I haven't taken a test. About what time did you apply?

I decided to come back to this page because a couple of months ago I was here just like you reading all the post. I am currently a Nova nursing student from Kendall. I started on winter and I am here to answer any questions you may have . I know for sure that you all are very nervous and excited but dont worry you will be ok . Feel free to ask me any question you want . I am going to try to login as much as I can to answer your questions ok .

Dont worry I got a 63 and I got in with that score . The only thing is that we were the first group to take the test when the implemented that so I dont know how the score will affect u

Give them a week, my acceptances took around 6 to 7 days maybe less I dont remember

Long story short I actually applied last year for Fall 2013. They wanted me to retake a science class, but bcc was not having it. I then had to transfer over to PBC and after several weeks of fighting them they finally gave me the ok to retake a class. I ended up choosing micro and also anatomy to refresh my memory. I received A's in both classes and sent Nova my transcripts after this past winter break. Nova contacted me the first week of Feb. to schedule the interview through an email. The interview was honestly the easiest part!! It was a group interview and we had already taken the tour and essay together so we were all friends by then which made it extremely comfortable. The Test i thought was hard especially the anatomy... i literally only studied anatomy and that was the section i did the worst on:/

Yesterday someone in my group got accepted (she got a 68)! They called her around 5:30 so praying they go alphabetically and i will hear from them next week!!!

Hi everyone!!! I also applied for the fall 2014 term at Nova. I am graduating this summer with an associates of science. They have received everything from me (transcripts, application fee etc). Now I'm playing the waiting game!! I'm super excited and nervous!!
