Nova Southeastern University ABSN Program 2022

Published

Hello!

I am currently applying to the ABSN program at NSU for the Miami campus. I noticed that there wasn't a forum for this and decided to create one! It has been a long process (I submitted my application April 4th) and I have my virtual interview tomorrow. If anyone who has already been accepted has any advice that would be great!

As a nova Miami grad myself, I highly advise you consider another nursing program. Nova Miami is a terrible choice. You’ll see! Those people are disorganized all the time and they don’t know how to teach so you end up teaching yourself everything. West coast is a better option!!

I should have taken your advice more seriously. Now I'm suffering the immense disorganization and unprofessionalism not to mention mental abuse.

Hi! Can you talk about what the program is like? I've seen a few posts about this and decided not to apply but I was just curious to hear about how the program was going.

We will probably be dragged out of our classes if we go into detail here. But wow. This school is run horribly and they always tell us to quiet down and stop complaining because they're overwhelmed with their jobs as it is. Look at my previous post if you want a little more detail.

Wow! I'm glad I chose not to attend my interview. I was having the hardest time getting clear answers when I was applying (one admin told me my courses would count towards the pre-req, and another didn't) so I took that as a sign that they were a mess. So weird because I've heard nothing but amazing things about their PA program. Anyways good luck to you! You're almost halfway done.

side note - but do you know what most of your cohort was doing before attending job-wise? Are they mostly healthcare?
