Hello!
I am currently applying to the ABSN program at NSU for the Miami campus. I noticed that there wasn't a forum for this and decided to create one! It has been a long process (I submitted my application April 4th) and I have my virtual interview tomorrow. If anyone who has already been accepted has any advice that would be great!

Hey! I was wondering how the interview went. Also, did you have to take the KLAP exam? Just wondering because when I called to have more info they just mentioned the TEAS exam was the pre-admission test.
I recently applied and hopefully I hear from them soon.

Hey, I also applied to the program. Did you guys take prep for the TEAS exam before the interview, or after the fact?

Hi guys. I was just accepted for an interview. When I signed up for registration I saw that there were 2 different types. One was longer and included an admissions test and another was shorter with no admissions exam. I signed up for the shorter one.

Does anyone know how the interview process was? Also is the test required? I don't see anywhere on the website that its required and none of the admissions counselors have said anything to me.

As a nova Miami grad myself, I highly advise you consider another nursing program. Nova Miami is a terrible choice. You’ll see! Those people are disorganized all the time and they don’t know how to teach so you end up teaching yourself everything. West coast is a better option!!

Oh please tell me more. I was just accepted into the FIU accelerated BSN program but they moved the campus to Biscayne bay which is very far for me. ? Nova seems like the best option since I live very close. How bad is the Miami campus?

I just got accepted to UM ABSN program and NSU's program. I don't know which school to choose. UM has always been my dream school but it is a little far from me since I live in the Kendall area. It is also around 20k more expensive. Any advice on which program to choose? I was waiting for FIU's response but I was informed they moved their program to BBC which makes it not worth it for me at all. Thank you!

They asked ethical questions like "What would you do if you saw someone in your class cheat on an exam?" Also "How would your friends describe you?", "What important traits are necessary for a nurse?"

Hi! Can you talk about what the program is like? I've seen a few posts about this and decided not to apply but I was just curious to hear about how the program was going.
