Nova Southeastern ABSN Fall 2020

Hey guys! I recently applied for Nova's ABSN program for Fall 2020 on the Fort Myers campus. I was looking for other people who applied as well, and if I'll meet anyone at the interviews on the 21st. Super excited! Good luck to everyone.

Hi! No, no provisional acceptance. What about you? I know Chamberlain is waiving the HESI. One can only hope they waive the Kaplan. I also applied to Davie.

No they told me that they could give me a provisional acceptance and when I take the Kaplan that would be the final decision. But I haven’t heard anything from them. Hopefully they waive it??. Have you applied to any other schools?

When did you have your interview? I had mine on march 17th pretty the day everything shut down. I haven't applied to any other schools. I currently attend nova and only have my sights set on attending their program. I tried calling James the other day but no answer. Hopefully we hear sonething soon.

I had mine yesterday online and I also had to send my essay though email. I had it with ---------------- and he told me that -------------------- was going to contact me, I haven’t called because I just had my interview but I think you should call again to find out about yours or send him an email.

I also had mine with -------------- and one other doctor through skype. He tild me ------------------ would get back to me as well. I'm definitely going to call him today. I hope we both make it in! ??

Hi! So I just spoke with the program’s director to set up my Zoom interview date/time.
I was told that after the interview I will have to do an essay question and 30mins to complete it.
Regarding the Kaplan, after the interview they’ll reach out with testing options. Kaplan will be given as a proctored online exam and there will be different available date/times to sign up for.
Just thought I’d share what I know on the whole Kaplan situation ?

@Chavy and @gatorgal I just got the email for the Kaplan. The test for me is on the 10th ? hopefully it goes well. Have you guys taken yours yet or recieved the email? If not I'm sure you will soon.

Hi, I also received that email but I won’t be able to take it that date ?. They told me they will announce another date for next week. Have you studied for the test?

I have done some studying. I have also taken the TEAS in the past. So I think Ill be OK. I'm definitely going to be craming these next couple of days.
