Congratulations on your move to Nova Scotia. It is very beautiful part of Eastern Canada, especially during summer months. In response to your questions, I would think your best source of information would be the Nova Scotia Nursing Registration Board. They can respond to all of the above questions and perhaps guide you on your initial steps into employment. Establishing contact with them would also facilitate your immigrant visa, licensure process and assessment of your qualifications. The NS Nursing Board are regulators of the practice in NS, are respected, follow quality management standards and reliable sources and support. Good luck,

Yes it is a beautiful part of the country and having lived here now 18 months we have no plans on moving anywhere else.

I have been through the process with the NS college and found them to be very quick in answering any of my questions and concerns I had. I think you can start the CCP once you have received eligibility from the college that you meet requirements and can sit CRNE

Hello!

Just want to ask how long does the initial registration assessment take? How many months or weeks will it take to know if you are eligible or not? (according to your experiences.)

Thank you for those that can reply.
