Nothing replaces a good old fashioned skills day

My new place of employment does things the old fashioned way. The ACLS was in a traditional classroom setting taught by a paramedic. Today we had a good old fashioned skills lab day.

My old place of employment went to everything online. If I had done ACLS there this year, it would have been online. Yes their numbers in their record books would have shown many having completed the course. But, nothing replaces hands-on learning surrounded by real people.

Check it out on the AHA website, by the time you get all of the scenerios and different tabs down, you're a internet code guru!!!

you will probably never want to do your ACLS on line again! :dead:
