Not doing well in Bio class

Published

So I can't withdraw from my bio class that I'm not doing well in. Now that I know that my professor said I might be able to get a C if I do good on the next test and the final but I'm not sure I want that when I know I didn't give it my all. I'd rather get a C knowing I did my best instead of getting a C at the very end. I don't know if I want to keep going for the next few weeks or just drop now and read the book over summer and bust butt fall semester..

Why aren't you doing well in it? Is it your study habits, although if we're talking intro to bio it doesn't really require too much studying, or is it your professor?

I'm the same way, but I believe it's my study habits. I need to better my studying skills in order for me to do well in A&P I & II, especially since I might be taking it this summer.

IMHO I would see the requirements for the nursing program. Here you have to have a C+ or better in all science and nursing courses to get in/remain in the nursing program. But you can pass with a C but it might not be good enough for their program. Lets say your program is a C or better, take the C in A&P 1 and work really hard in A&P 2 to show that you can do better. In A&P 1 I got a B- in A&P 2 I got an A-. Good luck. In Intro to Bio I got a B-.
