Not sure about nclex result

I'm wondering if there is anybody out there who might be able to help me? I took my nclex exam on Friday 3/21/14. It is now Wednesday 3/26/14 and I still do not show up when I do a search to see if I've been issued a license and It doesn't say anything on Pearson vue. Just that I can purchase the quick result to find out. I'm in ohio. I've done the Pearson vue trick several times (with the bad result) but I'm not putting much faith in that. Although, I'm starting to wonder if I did fail. Tell me what you all think or if you've had a similar experience. I just want to know what my result is so I can either start studying again or look for a job! :-) thanks!!

You can find out your results by paying for the quick results that will accurately tell you whether you passed or failed As far as how quickly the OH BoN updates their website and/or sends out pass/fail notices I do not know.

Also, Pearson will NOT indicate whether you are licensed or not. The PVT is just a system trick and no guarantee of pass or fail. Since your quick results are available (for a fee) you can find out with certainty if you passed or failed.

Your other option is to wait for the BoN to post your license or mail out the letter indicating you failed along with your candidate performance report indicating which areas to focus on should you decide to retake the NCLEX

I took my test this morning in Ohio they said I am on hold. I tried the trick but said results on hold after 2 hours. Not sure what to think myself.my palm print didn,t work at the end they said it have been doing that..good luck

Results on hold are just that. You need to wait until the QA/QC does their analysis before they will release your results for quick results and the BoN. There have been several posters that had issues with the palm vein scan, however this is a big issue that needs to be verified. I'm guessing since this has been a while that you may have less of a wait than others did (some waited 10 days for the hold to be lifted)

Thank you for the input! I decided to try calling bon and see what they could tell me. Apparently there was a large volume of tests over the weekend and they are still processing. They told me I should get my results tomorrow. Praying for good news! Thanks again!

Trust me understand that is why am not going to pay for quick results. I went to the bathroom and the palm vein thing wasn't right. Then when I finish it was very hard to exit , she couldn't get it to read. Then when I got home I tried after 5 hours and it still says results are on hold, a new registration cannot be created at this time . Hoping for good results...:)

Virginia doesn't offer quick results but you can call the BON after 24hrs to find out the results.....
