Members in the "NSU CRNA Class of 2027" are discussing the status of acceptance letters, rejections, and waitlists for the program. Some members have received rejections, while others are still waiting to hear back. There is also mention of follow-up interviews being offered, concerns about the notification process, and offers of support and advice for fellow applicants.
Starting this forum for those applying to NSU CRNA program this year. Should be getting interview invites soon. 🤞🏼

I'm not feeling hopeful at all. I know someone who got accepted during their interview. And if they extended interviews to this week... to me I feel like that's not a good sign for those who have already interviewed but didn't hear anything back

Try to remain hopeful! I don't believe they extended interviews from what I was told when I applied. I interviewed yesterday and I'm just praying for the best. I have 2 friends that attend NSU currently. They said we should all know next week.
It's crazy how people are being accepted on the spot like that. It makes me wonder if we have the same interviewers? Like in order to make that executive decision I'd assume you couldn't have someone filling in, and you'd also have to have our cv in front of you? On the bright side- congrats to them, that is very exciting!

After 3 interviews (only applied to 3 and 1st time). I truly believe the committees already know before the interview who they want unfortunately. I feel they interview people just to say they did unless they are iffy about you and want to see how the interview goes. Because someone had to look at your CV and grades to offer you an interview in the first place. Lots of politics behind the curtain unfortunately but keep going guys. I was pretty down in the dumps about it all but I'm going to keep going. Delayed doesn't mean denied. We all will find the perfect place for us to become CRNAs don't give up.
