I have been wondering the same thing about that program. Do you know how much it is?
I went to an info session in March and did apply. They are saying the admission letters will be out the first week in June
Tuition is $430/credit hour
Labs & Clinicals are $710/credit hour
Uniforms $200
Books $1500
Tuition Deposit, Background Check $300
It is pretty pricey, but at this point I just want to get in somewhere!!

Do they have Title IV financial aid.. Pell Grant, Federal Loans, etc?
This is a ADN.
Yes they do offer fin aid. Im not sure exactly how much and all that. But they do the FAFSA and all that stuff.

So like how much will the program wind up costing? Did you transfer any classes in??
yeah i transferred in:
english I
intro to psych
A&P I
A&P II
Microbiology
Sociology
Speech
Ethics
Im not sure how much it would cost in the end. I would imagine over 50K with no transfers. they are planning on having acceptance letters out the first week in june. so im guessing after provisional acceptance a student would meet with fin aid to figure all the numbers out.

WOW... that just seems like so much...but I know it's normal for it to cost that much. So which school you are you going to choose hon if you get into both?? Is this one accredited?
they are both not accreditated cause they both are new. and to get NLNAC accredidation there has to be a graduating class. I think i would probably chose northwestern, its closer to my house and it a faster program. it runs 4 semesters so 21 months, where as ITT is 9 quarters which is about 26 months.
Thanks hon! Yah, Bridgeview would be closer for me too. I also applied to St. Xavier, USF, and IU-Nortwest. I really like Ambria though! I'll give Northwestern a call. Where do you live? I live in Wicker Park near north and ashland. I think ITT is getting ready to graduate a class..or maybe that's the one in Merrillville?
So damn hard to choose. Do you need speech at this school? LOL
I applied to St Xavier too. I didn't get in. Also applied to Harper CC haven't heard from them yet. How far is IU-Northwest from the city? I went a info session at Ambria as well. I just don't like that you are required to work as an LPN for 6 months before you can the second year to get your RN. I work in an ER as a tech now and would hate to leave to work in a nursing home as an LPN. I live in Hinsdale right by oakbrook. Yes the ITT in Indiana has a class graduating soon. The one in Orland Parks first class started in March this year so they won't graduate till 2013. My problem is I messed around a lot my first 2 years in school and screwed up my GPA. I have a 2.78 right now which is holding me back from getting in even though I have a lot of experience from work at the hospital for over 3 years and I have great entrance exam scores. But most schools the GPA is the deciding factor which sucks.
