Does anyone have any information on the LPN program at Northwest Mississippi? How tough are admissions there?

I'm currently enrolled in the LPN program at the DeSoto campus. I actually just got home from a busy clinical day (I love it!), so if this isn't helpful or makes no sense (so tired!), feel free to send me a message on here! Well, when I applied to the program, my GPA was NOT good, due to a very long story, lol. So they don't look at that too much. My ACT score was 24, but I believe they allowed everyone who had an ACT of 18 and higher to sit for the NET exam. In all honesty, I'm not sure what happens from there. I do know that out of over 100 people, 30 made it into the program at my campus (we're at 21 now). Call the director of nursing at whichever campus you'd like to attend (a lot of people apply to both, just to up their chances!), and see if she can sit and speak with you a bit about your GPA, ACT scores, and maybe fill you in a little on what you'd need to make on the NET exam to make it into the program.
Good luck! And please feel free to message me if you'd like to know anything else!:)

I am currently enrolled in the RN program at NWCC. I know quite a few people in the LPN program. What i have heard from them here and there is you take a short test and interview to get in. I am not 100% sure though. The number to the main campus is 662-562-3200 and they can transfer you. From there you should be able to find out anything you need to know. Personally~ I would reccommend at least attempting to get into the RN if possible. if you break it down it's actually only one semester longer because the RN does not attend during summer. That's just a personal thought though.n Good luck and i will get in touch with a few of my friends in the program and see what kind of specific details i can find out.
Thank you both sooo much for the information!
