Hi!

Just wanted to create a thread on here for the October 2021 Northwell Health RN Fellowships so we can keep in touch with one another. I'm a soon to be graduate nurse and have an interest in ER/ICU! I just applied to both positions today. Looks like they opened on 8/17/21. Hope to chat with you guys soon!

Did anyone apply to the oncology one? Or has done it already? How was the in person interview and salary? I got invited today after submitting the on demand video for in person one tomorrow.

Has anyone heard back regarding the periop fellowship? I interviewed on 9/8, shadowed a day in the OR 9/15 (she told me since I would be an internal transfer I would be able to shadow). After my shadow day she told me I should be hearing back from the recruiter the following week but it has been radio silence. 
 

I emailed the recruiter last week and she said they were still deciding on positions and then the job posting opened up again with a closing date of this past Sunday. 
 

I’m assuming that would mean more interviews would be done this week meaning the start date can’t possibly be for this Monday coming up?

As per their website the start date should be 10/11. I interviewed 10/1 for the oncology fellowship and got an offer on 10/4. I had my employee health appointment today and have the new employee appointment tomorrow. I have not received any other information, except an email from Ellen asking for my unofficial transcript. I also finished the onboarding videos/ trainings. Not sure what else is missing at this point.

I believe since I would be an internal transfer the onboarding process is slightly different. I was also reading in previous posts for prior fellowships that periop is always the last to contact people/is always late (of course haha). 
 

Ellen had originally called me to interview for the July fellowship, (however I had a prior commitment that I couldn’t get out of so she had me interview for the October one) and the start date was 8/2. So that was definitely delayed from the intended start date.

Does anyone know the schedule for the fellowship after orientation. I know there are a few stages.

The rest of the week is additional training days both online and in person. I was told that initially 10 weeks are class prep and following that we follow preceptor schedule. I’m not quite sure though. This is for the ER fellowship.

Hi! Just applied for the Peri operative fellowship at Lenox. How do you guys like it so far? And can I prepare for the on demand interview or once I click the link it’s no turning back?
