Northwell Health Fellowship October 2020

Hi everyone, 

I am starting a thread for the Northwell Health October 2020 Fellowship! I just wanted to know if anyone applied yet. Figured that we could keep each other updated here!

I applied to a few of the fellowships that opened this week and I received an email for an on-demand interview today.

Nothing yet here as well. I applied for periop and critical care. Hopefully we hear good news soon!

Unfortunately no ?. I think I messed it up for myself by saying that my first fellowship choice is the ED during the on-demand interview.

@NurseRN2111 oh no! Do they even have an ED fellowship at the moment? If anything she might call you when they do! I was hoping you went to the interview so I could know how it went! IDK anyone who’s interviewed and I wonder how many candidates they have to go through ?

@Shanna1234 for me the phone interview was easy, she didn’t ask me for head to toe assessment - but then again mine was for the periop fellowship. I had my in person interview today, now it’s The waiting game?

@Shanna1234 I honestly don’t know.. they were so laid back and humble.. I was super nervous at first and I think I was talking too fast LOL but the educator was giving a lot of feed back towards what I was saying.. the director mainly spoke about the program what it consists of , how long , the hours and stuff. I asked when should I expect to hear back and they said the recruiter was prob still sending interviewees so maybe in 2 weeks... I wonder if anyone else has gone through this process and when they found out. They didn’t mention anything about another interview. I met with the director and nurse manager/educator of the program.

@Nursepurplelove did they ask you any nursing clinical questions or were they mainly about you?

I got a email for video interview yesterday. Completed it last night and now its the waiting game!
