Northside Scholars Leadership Program

Hey All!

I was wondering if anyone has applied or interviewed for the Northside Scholars Leadership Program through Northside Hospital. If so, have you heard back? I interviewed and got an email last week that they should have the decision this week but haven't heard.

Or if anyone has received this in the past, how long does it usually take and do they let you know either way.

I also interviewed for the program and havent heard anything back! I go the email saying she would be out of the office last week and we would know something by the end of last week..but still nothing....I am really wondering if I got it! Lord knows I could use it with the Emory tuition!! lol

Sharon told me they would let us know either way..good or bad...

Let me know if you find out anything!!

I hear ya!!! I got the email also about Sharon being out of the office. I would have thought by now...I am on pins and needles! When did you interview and how did you feel about it? Sharon said 9-10 were interviewing and they were taking 4, maybe 5!! Good luck!!! So I guess no news is good news:) fingers crossed!!! how doyou like Emory? I couldn't afford that.. Lol!!! I'm at KSU and just finished my 1st semester...summer is a beast in itself and to start in the summer is even crazier but I made it!

I also interviewed and haven't heard back....and I'm checking my phone every 2 minutes which isn't very productive. They only interviewed 10 and they're accepting 4-5? Those are decent odds! I go to Emory and it's definitely expensive but worth it if you can make it work!

Maybe we should call Sharon and see when we are supposed to find out?? Hmm....

And everyone that applied got an interview..so 9 people applied and your right ugabelle she said 4-5 would get it!

Only 9 of us applied??? Wow! I left Sharon a msg on Monday but haven't heard anything....the waiting is killing me!

I went ahead and sent Sharon an email to see if we would hear this week or next and if any decision had been made...I'll let ya'll know if she writes back!

When do you all graduate? How did you find out about this scholarship? I had a friend who actually received it a couple years ago and it seemed like an awesome program...do you know what area you would like to work in? I am thinking L&D for me but keeping my options open...I hope we hear something soon either way...

Still nothing.....makes me wonder if we get the scholarship how long theyd take to send the money to the school LOL

I know! My tuition is due in a couple of weeks and inbred to buy books! I emailed yesterday and have heard nothing! Can't believe how long this is taking!

I'm beginning to think we didn't get it since we haven't heard anything. Did either of you email or call and get a response of any kind?
