Hey guys. Just starting a thread for the Northridge Hospital New Grad Program. Application runs from 10/1-10/14. Interviews in November to start in March. We can ask each other questions and prepare here until the app opens and we start updating each other. 

Wish these start dates were closer to the app dates =/

I applied October 1st- got my email that said it was received. October 2nd I got my second email that they liked what I sent in and then this week I received another that I was moving on again! Was this all the same that you had?

I applied on October 1st too! That same day I got 2 emails, one saying the application was received and one saying I was advancing. Then on the 15th I got another one saying I was advancing.

Has anyone heard back? Sent out app. then received emailed stating I was advancing that same day. Then received another email stating I was advancing a couple weeks after. But haven't heard back.

Hi! I wanted to reach out to everyone in the next stages of the application process. I was wondering if you would be willing to share feedback/advice on improving one's chances of getting interviews / opportunities in RN residency programs.

I applied to this program's cohort but did not receive emails to advance. While I have clinical experience in hospitals from my nursing program, I did not do clinicals at Northridge or other hospitals whose residency programs I plan to apply to. 

I appreciate the help! Also, want to wish you all good luck in the application process. I hope everyone can find the unit and place they feel is a great fit for them in their nursing journey

Has there been any updates at all? I've received two emails throughout October and just silence afterwards.

No ;( on the original application it said they would start sending out links to schedule interviews in October I think so it's definitely been a while

I think they were going to send out interview invitation on novemeber and conduct interview on decemeber. There's still time.
