Hey guys. Just starting a thread for the Northridge Hospital New Grad Program. Application runs from 10/1-10/14. Interviews in November to start in March. We can ask each other questions and prepare here until the app opens and we start updating each other.

Wish these start dates were closer to the app dates =/

Hi, you guys! It says on the application that these are the only Participating Departments for this cohort: ED, ICU, Telemetry, Med Surg, Orthopedics, & Pediatrics. I wanted to apply for OR and it was listed under the application packet but I guess they are not taking anyone! When does the Providence app open, anyone know?

IV seen a couple people on here really want peri-op……. Hoag in Newport is hiring new grads. It's not close to LA but if that's really what you want, worth a try!

Hey! I'm new to this platform and will follow along this application process with y'all!

Does anyone know if it's completely necessary to have graduated 12 months before the start date? I've graduated a while ago and I still stuggling to get into a new grad program.

I'm not 100% sure but I'd like to think it's okay. I just applied to Children's Hospital LA (which is open til the 25th BTW, and at the info session someone asked that. They said as long as you have under 1 year experience it's fine. Hopefully that's the same across many hospitals since there are so many of us new grads applying for such limited spots.

I just got another email saying my application has moved into the next step of the review process but still says "hiring manager review."  Anyone else get another email with this status? I had already received an email saying this last week.

Not yet! But hopefully that's good news What units did you apply for?
