same here. I was supose to work and my boss gave me pto although I was supose to work. I am also working on Monday 28 and If I call out no pay because its my first day after a holiday. ?
Does anybody recommend a place to take the CPR training for healthcare providers?? I know we are supposed to take within AHA (American Heart Association), but I see so many CPR trainings and I don’t know which ones NOVA accepts. They don’t have CPR training only it’s CPR with either First aid or AED.
I get it through work. I already have it. However, go to american heart association website and find the closest place to you. It should be BLS . It will give you both CPR, the use of an AED fr both adult n children. I also hve my vaccination through work. I submitted my certificate already and it has been accepted. ?
Great! I’m going to check the BLS training. At AHA they had BLS and CPR as two different separate ones. I’ll check that out again. I submitted my drug screen and background check and got it approved as well as the mini courses within CASTLE BRANCH. I’ll wait on the vaccines as the staff asked on the email, but I wish they allowed us to get that done ?
I know right. I will submit it because I have all my papers. Will see. I wanted to do the physical too. It's difficult to hve my primary fr physical. Got to book appoitment. Lolll.
I don’t see any on Canvas either. I guess they are waiting on who shows up to the orientation to make sure canvas appear for those ones who attended orientation. All I know is only from Castle Branch
Also are you guys completing other portions of the requirements already (ie. CPR, physicals, vaccinations, etc.)? So far I've only completed the drug screen and background check cause that's what they stated to do at this point.
Same drug screen, background. Also some stuff that I downl9aded and aknowledge I got it. The small courses. My CPR since I just renewed my card at work. Im gonna upload my vaccination since I have it already. I work in the hospital. Requirements are the same
Nop a clinical technician. We are the one the draw blood, put ivs do vital change the bed, put foleys or assist with foley. Some on cardiac unit do ekg's etc. We are not liscence. We arr trained for 6 weeks by the hospital. 3 week in class and three week practice with someone. ?
